The Mission of the Riviera Beach Family Resource Center, Inc. is to identify the needs of the community and provide support and empowerment services; to improve the quality of life for families and others in the community.
The Riviera Beach Family Resource Center provides supportive services to children and families with a goal of empowering them through education and training.  Specifically, we target community members living on limited incomes, minorities, women, children and families who need our support.  We provide youth educational and enrichment activities, financial management, home improvement workshops and parenting classes as a part of our program. Services are provided free of charge thanks to the funding from Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County.

The Center recently held it 5th annual Multicultural Event on May 10, 2008.
The Event Titles “Bringing All People Together” celebrates the cultural diversity within our communities. There was live music, ethnic food, local exhibitors, social services agencies, prize drawings, story telling, face painting, praises dancing, a bounce house and other great children’s activities.

The Center currently collaborates/partners with the City of Riviera Beach, St. George’s School, MLK Palm Beach County Committee, YWCA “Y - Girls” Program, Teen Time, New Beginning Beacon Center (JFK Site), Sickle Cell Foundation Women’s Health Initiative, ADL Anti-Defamation League, Palm Beach County School District African American Studies, Palm Beach County School District Student Intervention Services, Palm Tran, and the Department of Children and Families (DCF) as a ACCESS Community Partner Agency.
