Quality is a center that is safe, clean and up-to-date on all of its licenses.  In other words, a place where parents feel comfortable taking their children each morning.

Quality is an environment that encourages my children’s teachers to keep up with the latest educational research and understand how children grow.

Quality is a caregiver who is warm and loving and has time to spend with your child, which helps build him or her self esteem.

Quality is an atmosphere that fosters partnership between parents and teachers, so parents feel free to share questions, concerns or even a funny story with their child’s caregiver.

Quality is a place that chooses research-based teaching methods and formal ways of measuring children’s growth, so parents know their children will be ready for kindergarten.

Now it’s easy to recognize quality with Palm Beach County’s Quality Improvement System, a voluntary program that helps child care center, family child care homes and school-based sites raise standards in six important areas:
