April 1 marks the beginning of swim season in Palm Beach County.
To highlight water safety, WaterSmart Palm Beach County will hold a major event at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 30, at the DeVos-Blum Family YMCA of Boynton Beach, 9600 S. Military Trail, Boynton Beach.

- A woman who lost her great-grandson to drowning will speak about the importance of water safety.
