Healthy Beginnings

Lactation Services

Lactation Services include both phone and home visits by certified Lactation Consultants to provide interventions which will help the mother address breastfeeding problems and continue to breastfeed.  This service is available for Healthy Beginnings participants when WIC breastfeeding services would not be available.  Breastfeeding education groups are available through the WHIN program in zip codes 33401, 33403, 33404, and 33407.
