Training Opportunities for Grant Writers

Basic Grant Writing
This course is for novice grant writers. Participants will review the basics of seeking and writing grants. At the conclusion of the class, participants will be able to identify and evaluate grant opportunities, establish a system to write grants, and identify the basic parts of a grant proposal.

Intermediate Grant Writing
Participants will review the basic components of a grant proposal, successful approaches, and the do's and don’ts of grant writing. Special attention is devoted to writing each technical component of a grant proposal such as the needs statement, evaluation and the budget. It is highly recommended that participants take RDI Basic Grantwriting Workshop before registering for Intermediate class.

To register for the above workshops, visit Children's Services Council Training Center.
