
Basic Grant Writing
This course is for novice grant writers. Participants will review the basics of seeking and writing grants. At the conclusion of the class, participants will be able to identify and evaluate grant opportunities, establish a system to write grants, and identify the basic parts of a grant proposal.
Intermediate Grant Writing
Participants will review the basic components of a grant proposal, successful approaches, and the do's and don’ts of grant writing. Special attention is devoted to writing each technical component of a grant proposal such as the needs statement, evaluation and the budget. It is highly recommended that participants take RDI Basic Grantwriting Workshop before registering for Intermediate class.

Five-Day Grantsmanship Training Program

The Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties and United Way of Palm Beach County is pleased to welcome the Grantsmanship Training Program to Palm Beach. Upon completion of the workshop, graduates receive a full year of free follow-up services through the exclusive Membership Program. These include professional proposal review and access to a comprehensive online database of foundation, corporate and government funding sources.
Tuition is $875. A limited number of half-tuition scholarships are available for organizations with annual budgets of less than $300,000.
