E-learning Opportunities


Below please find the links to e-learning modules currently being offered by CSC. 

These courses are online and will not be reflected on your transcript.  In order to document completion of e-learning courses for CSC audit or other purposes, you must print the certificate slide (the last slide in each module) for each course you complete and keep it for your records.


ASQ-3: (please click here to view) 

This 15 minute module will identify what the ASQ-3 is as well as discuss how to engage parents in completing it in a manner consistent with how and why it was developed.

If this is a required training for you, you must also complete a face-to-face ASQ-3 Reflective Practice session.  These sessions are posted in the CSC training calendar.


BRIDGES 101: (please click here to view)

This 20 minute module provides an overview of the BRIDGES including what they do, where they are located, and what makes a good referral.


Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale: (please click to view | 20 minute course | 40 minute course)
This course and webinar are the pre-requisites to the face-to-face Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale (C-SSRS).  Reviewed are the purpose of the screening tool, how to administer it, and how to score it.  The face-to-face training includes information regarding appropriate referrals within the system of care and community.

Early Childhood Investigations is a ongoing series of conference-quality free webinars for early childhood educators. These engaging webinars are presented by many of the thought-leaders and experts in the field of early care and education. The webinars explore critical topics that offer new ideas and insights to early childhood professionals, especially administrators.

The mission of the Center on the Developing Child is to drive science-based innovation that achieves breakthrough outcomes for children facing adversity. Their online resource library includes Brief, Videos, Tools/ Guides, and Presentations by Harvard University staff and faculty.


Healthy Beginnings System of Care Orientation (please click here to view)

The Healthy Beginnings System Orientation E-Learning Modules provide an overview of CSC and our Healthy Beginnings System
of Care.

The training is broken into 3 modules, each ranging from 20-40 minutes:
Module 1 - What is CSC? (History, structure, funding, and a brief intro to all of our systems of care)
Module 2 - What is a System of Care and What is Healthy Beginnings? (explaining the value of a system and our HB in-depth animation showing a client flowing through HB)
Module 3 - HB Providers (in-depth presentations on the two Entry agencies role, process, and screenings; information on links to all our HB Programs)

The training is not required at this time.

National Child’s Traumatic Stress Network Learning Center (please click here)

The National Child’s Traumatic Stress Network Learning Center is an online database of online education with over 200 online webinars and 300 free CE certificates.


Racial Disparities in Birth Outcomes (please click here)

This 30 minute e-learning module is designed to increase your knowledge and awareness about racial disparities by discussing what they are and how they impact birth outcomes both nationally and in Palm Beach County. Infant mortality is a key indicator of the health of a community. This module provides an in depth look at what happens when babies are not born healthy safe and strong.


Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (please click here to view)

(TF-CBT) is an evidence-based treatment for children and adolescents impacted by trauma and their parents or caregivers. Research shows that TF-CBT successfully resolves a broad array of emotional and behavioral difficulties associated with single, multiple and complex trauma experiences.

This online workshop from The Center for Child Counseling specializes in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health, Play Therapy, and Trauma is a general introduction that is appropriate for teachers, caregivers, professionals, and anyone who is interested in learning more about adverse childhood experiences and what we can all do to foster resilience. By shifting our perspective and recognizing that behaviors may be fueled by feelings a child may not be able to manage, we are able to build the foundation to help children impacted by adversity.


TF-CBT with Childhood Traumatic Grief (please click here to view)

This online training helps providers identify effective Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)-focused interventions to help clients cope in the aftermath of trauma, PTSD, grief and loss.

What is Reflective Practice: (please click here to view)

This 15 minute module defines what reflective practice is as well as offers suggestions and insights into becoming more reflective in your work.
