Biography

Debra L. Robinson, M.D.was elected to the Palm Beach County School Board in 2000 and has served continuously since. She is a graduate of Michigan State University and Howard University College of Medicine. Following residency and internships in Michigan, she practiced in West Palm Beach, Belle Glade, Okeechobee, Pompano Beach and Chattanooga, as well as at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in West Palm Beach. Dr. Robinson was chair of the Education Committee of the West Palm Beach branch of the NAACP for five years, and a founding member and the first chair of the Coalition for Black Student Achievement when that group formed in 1998.
