Biography

Erica Whitfield has been a Palm Beach County School Board member since 2018. Prior to this role, she focused on chronic disease education at the Palm Beach County Health Department and as project coordinator at the school district for the Robert Wood Johnson “Healthy Kids, Healthy Communities” grant. Ms. Whitfield continues to champion public health issues, serving as chair of the United Way’s Childhood Hunger Action Committee. She also serves on the American Heart Association of Palm Beach County Market Board, the county’s Homeless Advisory Board and is a member of Leadership Florida, Leadership Palm Beach County and the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches. She is a University of Florida graduate with a Master’s degree from Emory University.
