Funded with property taxes, CSC provides leadership, funding, services and research on behalf of the county’s children so they grow up healthy, safe and strong.

Children's Services Council of Palm Beach County is an independent, local government created 40 years ago – by the community, for the community – to improve the lives of PBC children and families.
CSC is funded with property taxes. (A typical PBC owner of a single-family home pays about $160 a year in taxes to CSC.) CSC has kept the tax rate steady for the last three years. And 93% of CSC’s budget supports programs and services for children and families.
More than 52,000 children and their families directly received services from CSC last year.
CSC is one of the largest funders of programs for children in Palm Beach County, and the lead funder of many nonprofits you know and love.
