Biography

Alexandria Ayala was elected to the Palm Beach County School Board representing District 2 in 2020, and is the first Latina elected to the board. Her district includes parts of West Palm Beach, Greenacres, Palm Springs, Cloud Lake, Lake Worth, Lake Clarke Shores, and Haverhill.

She is the Director of Community Engagement with The Markarian Group. She previously served as a Legislative Aide on the Palm Beach County Commission, and in the Florida House of Representatives.

Born in Puerto Rico and raised in Palm Springs, Ms. Ayala graduated from the University of Central Florida with a bachelor's degree in Political Science. She attended three District-operated schools as a student.
