Families receiving services from CSC invited to take part in survey

RTI International invites parents who receive home-visiting services through the Children Services Council of Palm Beach County to take part in an important study about families. The study includes an in-person parent interview and a child assessment to help us learn about the needs of families in this community, the kinds of services they receive, and the different ways these services help families. Gift cards will be offered to each family who participates.

RTI interviewers will contact local families by mail, and then by telephone, to schedule a home visit with those who express interest in participating in the study. The interviewer will ask permission to do some activities with the child to assess their development, and to film a play session between the parent and child. The interviewer will ask the parent questions about their child’s development, including his or her learning, behavior and health. The interviewer also will ask about the services the family receives and their family environment.
