CSC News: $4.5 million in grants strengthen child care in Palm Beach County

With $4.5 million from Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County, child care providers who accept School Readiness or Head Start funding received a one-time grant ranging from $6,000-$12,000, depending on the number of children they are licensed to care for.

In Florida, a state where water abounds from beaches to backyards, over 100 children who had autism or were being evaluated for it have drowned since the start of 2021, according to the Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County.

CSC News: Pahokee mural unveiling with former NFL players

Twenty-seven children worked on the mural this summer, guided by a team of teaching artists. The mural, facing the football practice field, is a collaboration of the City of Pahokee, football coaches and Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County.

Council Update: CSC to begin re-imagining early care and education supports
