Council Update: CSC support leverages almost $50 million in other public funds

This year alone, staff told the board at its December meeting, CSC funds leveraged an additional $49.5 million from other federal, state and local sources.

Council Update: Vast majority of CSC-funded programs high-performing

Staff assessed programs based on specific targets and measures, with some programs evaluated on direct child/family outcomes and others evaluated on whether they met strategic objectives. 

Council Update: Council invests additional $500,000 in mentoring to reduce waitlist

The funding will expand youth mentoring services, administered by United Way of Palm Beach County, allowing for recruitment and training of 200 new mentors, thereby reducing the current waitlist.
